Dame Evelyn Glennie, in her remarkable performance last November, was an inspiration that praised the warmth and generosity of Cork audiences. She also taught us how to listen with our entire bodies like never before. We can now use these impressive listening talents to enjoy, even more, the exciting, diverse range of performances in the coming months.
The ten performances ahead of us contain not just something for everyone, but everything for everyone! From vacuum cleaners and audience participation in the “Proms” concerts to travelling back in time with the sounds of Colin Lawson and the Revolutionary Drawing Room, there really is a rewarding experience to be listened to, heard and felt in every concert.
